TEC Students Craft Traditional Medicine Pouches

Guided by our Land Based and Culture Coordinator, Kate Jadis, grade 9 students of TEC,  participated in the art of making traditional medicine pouches. Each student crafted with care, and enjoyed the practice and teachings about the importance of building spirit bundles.  Students learned about the four medicines, sage, sweetgrass, tobacco and cedar and how to cleanse through smudging.
